Direct Seed Conference Nearly Full
PULLMAN, Wash. -- There will be no registration at the door for the Northwest Direct Seed Intensive Cropping Conference in Pasco, Jan 7-8, Washington State University announced today.
Roger Veseth, WSU and University of Idaho extension conservation tillage specialist, said 750 pre-registrations are approaching the 825-seat capacity of the DoubleTree Hotel.
Veseth urges anyone who plans to attend but hasn't pre-registered, to call (509) 547-5538 to confirm if space is available. DoubleTree Hotel rooms are full. Videotapes of the seven 2- to 3-hour conference focus sessions will be available Jan. 23 from WSU Cooperative Extension. A 150-page report also will be available.
