Pesticide Commission to Meet at Snoqualmie Pass

PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration will meet Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Summit Inn at Snoqualmie Pass.

The agenda includes a review of proposals requesting funding from the commission. The meeting is scheduled from 10 a.m. to about 4 p.m. The public is invited.

The commission was created by the state legislature in 1995 to obtain and maintain pesticide registration for critical pest control needs for the state. The commission, headquartered on Washington State University's Tri-Cities campus, holds public meetings throughout the state to solicit and review proposals from growers.
