Meat Goat Production Workshop Nov. 21
PULLMAN, Wash. -- A workshop on meat goat production is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Centro Campesino (Radio KDNA), 120 Sunnyside Ave., Granger, Wash.
The program covers animal selection, management, feeds and feeding, goat health, home butchering, safe meat handling and preparation of goat meat specialties.
A goat meat lunch will be offered for a donation of $5.
The program is sponsored by Washington State University Cooperative Extension and the Hispanic Growers Association.
