Interviews Scheduled for Directorship of WSU's Center for Sustaining Agriculture
PULLMAN, Wash. -- Three candidates will be interviewed Sept. 5-6 for the directorship of Washington State University's Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The three candidates are Matthew Carroll, WSU associate professor of natural resource sciences; Chris Feise, interim director of the CSANR; and John Reganold, WSU professor of soil science.
The candidates will present public seminars on their vision for the center and answer questions in sessions scheduled from 9-10:45 a.m. on September 5 in the Allmendinger Conference Center at the WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center and from 8-9:45 a.m. on Sept. 6 in T-101 of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Building on the WSU Pullman campus.
The Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources was created by the legislature in 1991 to further understanding and application of sustainability in agriculture, natural resources and communities through education and applied research.
The center provides education on emerging issues through conferences and workshops, on-farm testing and applied research and through a variety of communications tools.
