Oilseed, Direct Seeding Forum to be in Moscow

MOSCOW, Idaho -- A Northwest research review and forum on oilseed production and direct seed cropping systems will be held here Monday, March 4, at the University Inn - Best Western.

The Idaho and Washington canola and rapeseed commissions and the Pacific Northwest Direct Seed Association are the organizers.

Northwest growers, researchers, agricultural companies and other agricultural support groups and agency representatives are expected to participate.

The program will begin at noon with lunch, followed by brief presentations and posters on current research projects related to oilseed production. A research roundtable will follow, to discuss research needs, funding opportunities, information exchange and future directions in oilseed production and direct seed cropping systems.

The luncheon, research review sessions, and research roundtable are open to all interested growers, researchers, and other industry participants.
